Totale destructie kraakbeen med en lat femurcodyl na multipele ingrepen (med coll bandplastie, voorste kruisbandplastie, achterste k.b.plastie,diverse arthroscopische shavings)in het verloop van enkele jaren. Ook het tibiaal plateau is volledig van kraakbeen ontdaan. Sanering diende te geschieden met resurfacing arthroplastie waarbij een mobiel tibiaal plateau met maximale stabiliteit werd ingeplant.
