resectieosteotomie van collum femoris fragment en
de ilio-trochantere arthrodesespaan.

and the collum femoris. Removal of all old
osteosynthesis material.

Het ingegroeide osteosynthesemateriaal diende
verwijderd te worden waarbij metaalfrezen gebruikt werden om de afgebroken schroeven en
vastzittende smith petersen nagelplaat te klieven.

Metal fraises and burrs had to be used in order to
remove all broken screws and ingrown smith-
petersen nail plate.

RX 3 maanden post op.Bij de revalidatie dient
bijzonder gelet te worden op luxatiegevaar. De
heupabductoren dienden speciaal te worden
behandeld wegens hun atrofie door de 35 jaar
durende arthrodese toestand.Uitstekende mobiliteit en stabiliteit 6 maanden post op.

RX 3 months post op.During revalidation special
care was given to the danger of luxation and
reeducation of the gluteal musculature. The latter
showed an important atrofy after a 35 years
existing situation of. complete ankylosis. Exellent mobility and stability was achieved 6 months post op.
